Sunday morning...12/19
Just a quick note before going to Mass.
Hope all are well and looking forward to a wonderful Christmas Day on Saturday. I have almost all my tasks done. Still need a few more things from the stores, and some wrapping done.
It's been a wonderful few days since I last wrote. I took a short trip to Salt Lake City Dec 9-12. Got in some relaxation, rejuvenation and research. I'll say more about the trip in tonight's blog.
My friend Doug was in town Dec 14-16. We had a great visit. Too bad work got in the way of a fun time! It's always good to see Doug and raise a few glasses with him.
Last night I went to a CD release party at Mulligan's for Larry Kernagis. He's a Chicago guy and amazingly, a Irish music-singing Lithuanian! Haven't had a chance to listen to the CD yet, but the song selection looks great!
Well, time to finish getting ready. We have a parish council meeting after Mass today--always on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Hope it is a short one!
Catch you all later. Waiting for snow here in Nashville. Mom called a few minutes ago and said they have snow in Springfield now--cars are covered, but here the sun is shining. Springfield is about 30 miles northeast; so maybe it'll start while we are in church.
Have a wonderful day!
Mark
